April 1 Reliever Francisco Rodriguez returned home to Venezuela due to a family emergency. It is uncertain if he will be back for Opening Day.
March 31 Shortstop Jose Reyes will start the season on the disabled list and will miss the first five games.
First baseman Daniel Murphy sprained his knee and will be out from two to six weeks.
March 29 Catcher Chris Coste was claimed by the Nationals.
March 23 Shortstop Jose Reyes is set to rejoin the team and resume baseball activities after his thyroid levels are back to normal.
